Thank you for attending the 2020 AZ Rural & Public Health Policy Forum!
The Arizona Rural & Public Health Policy Forum is designed to address current rural and public health policy issues and their impact on Arizona’s rural and tribal communities, provide information on organizations’ legislative priorities for the upcoming session, and facilitate networking opportunities. Over 125 people attended this year's Forum at the state capitol. Thirty Arizonans presented over the course of the day. Topics included updates of initiatives implemented in the 2019 legislative session such as expanding graduate medical education (GME) and medical school slots, and implementing a primary care scholarship program for graduates who agree to practice in Arizona’s rural and urban underserved areas.
The Forum is presented by the Center for Rural Health in collaboration with the Arizona Rural Health Association.
